Unforgettable moments unbreakable bonds
In a deep sleep suddenly I felt a hand gently shaking my shoulder and whispering “Wake up preethi it’s getting late “ Before I could even open my eyes I felt the excitement surrounding me. Mum came nearer and got me a beautiful yellow lehenga with floral embroidery. I wore that and went to see my haldi preparations as soon as all the rituals were completed sravya smeared a generous amount of haldhi on my cheek. I tried to escape but all my cousins surrounded me.We played and danced a lot. Seeing all the happy faces I thought this was not a ritual but a lifetime memory with family that is cheered.

By evening, Sangeeth was in full swing, and we were all dressed up, ready to kick off the event. Navya and Saro set the stage on fire with their amazing performances. Before long, my cousins took over the stage, showing off their dance moves. I could feel the joy in their eyes, all of them celebrating the fact that their beloved sister was about to start a new chapter in life. Suddenly, a voice echoed through the mic, “Preethi, come on!” Thanay stepped down from the stage and helped me up. We began dancing together, and all the practice sessions we had put in for this moment made it feel completely worth it in the end.
Tomorrow is such a significant day for you, and it makes sense that you’re feeling a mix of emotions. It must have been such a tender moment when Varshi noticed your tears and gathered everyone around. There’s something so comforting about those shared memories, especially with cousins who feel like siblings. The nostalgia of summers at grandmother’s house, late-night horror stories, and all the simple joys really adds warmth to a time that’s full of change. How did it feel to talk about those memories with them, knowing the next chapter was just around the corner?

It sounds like a truly magical and peaceful moment, with everyone coming together to support you in such a meaningful way. The way Krithi brought blankets and sprite bottles, keeping everything cozy while everyone shared stories, must have been a perfect mix of comfort and love. And how amazing that you could connect this moment with the memories from your half-saree ceremony—it must’ve felt like a full circle moment.
The atmosphere, filled with incense and flowers, must have added to the sacredness of the whole occasion. Even though you were prepared for the big day, the tension is so natural—it’s such a life-altering event. How did you feel once the wedding was finally over, knowing all those intense emotions led to such a peaceful conclusion?

Finally, it was time to leave all my happiness behind, hoping for new ones. The joy on everyone’s faces began to fade. My heart felt heavy. I started taking my family members’ blessings, getting ready to leave. Sravya, Saro, Thanay, Krithi, Varshi, and Navya came closer. We shared a warm hug filled with gratitude and the hope that we would continue this beautiful bond, creating many more memories together. They gave me a sweet sendoff.
I began my journey and left my home. I knew life was about to change, that things wouldn’t be the same as before. But no matter what happens, I will be their support system forever. They are not just cousins, but my soulmates—ready-made friends from God.
